For our Sunday School Teacher!!!

Hello everyone!!!. Today's card is dedicated to Christopher. He has been our Sunday School teacher for many many years. Now since he has a lot of work with the Youth and Preaching in our Church, we (Diane, his wife Ann and myself) decided to take care of the Sunday School to help him. I made this card for his farewell this coming Sunday. I know it is hard for him to stop teaching the little ones but he is going to still work hard for God preaching His word and he still be an example for the kids.  Here is his card:

For this card I used:

Cardstock: Whisper White, Cherry Cobler and Night of Navy from SU
Stamps: Light of the world from Our Daily Bread and Warmest Regards from SU
Ink: Night of Navy from SU
Accessories: Oval Stax die and First Prize Ribbon die from MFT, Twine and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder from SU

Thanks for looking!!!

Oh, I love this layout and your colors, the embossing folder just works! I've never used that one on a masculine card before, but now I know I CAN!! Thank you for the inspiration!

I love the colors! The layering and twine really add to the theme so well. Great card!!! I recently found a tutorial on how to tie a sailor's knot. I want to try it! Here is the link in case you are interested too: http://barspaperpursuits.blogspot.com/2010/02/thank-you-sailors-knot-tutorial.html
