Him with His Mother

Today I was leaving a comment on Melina's blog from my "Crafty Gals" about Scrapbooking being a sad art. Well I agree 100%. You are pasting, choosing, cropping and decorating pictures of your kids all the time when they were little, at a especial occasion, with the most beautiful faces, in fact, if you choose a picture of your kid to scrapbook it is because is beautiful and meant to put on an album... and then I made this card for the Flourishes challenge and can't stop but thinking in this particular mother...!!!. We all suffer when we see them growing, leaving. Don't you ever think of what SHE felt?????.  My prayers and admiration for all those woman that suffered and suffer every day. For sure you have a "Especial Place" in Heaven. All my love!!!...
This card is for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #143 "Double Embossing". It was a hard technique for me but I guess I did it. You can go HERE to the Splitcoasstampers tutorial to see how to make this technique.  For this card I used Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock from SU, a very old stamp set also from SU but I don't have the name :( sorry!!, SU pearls from the kit "Prettiest Kit", "Kassie's"embossing folder from Cuttlebug, Spellbinder Nestabilities Label Four, the flowers  are from MFT dies "Prima Donna Petals". I sponged the centre of the card with Crumb Cake ink pad from SU and embossed the image with gold embossing powder from WalMart. :)

You knocked it out of the park for a "hard technique"!! I think I need lessons. Beautifully done.
