For Christine

Hello everyone!!!. I made this card for my friend and now piano teacher Christine. She is the Choir leader at our church and asked me so many times to join the choir. I use to sing in my church's choir when I was youn...ger!!! and now I was waiting for my kids to be old enough to let mom sit with the choir again. The thing is that back then we didn't need to know how to read music (thing that I don't know) so it was a must to learn this time... well Christine wanted me so bad to be in the choir that she offered herself to teach me piano and how to read music. She has an enormous and loving heart but I needed to give her something in return. Well apart of giving her spanish conversation every time I go there I told her to ask me for any card she needs for any occasion she has. I made her this card for a friend's retirement and she loved it!!!

It had to be simple because it is for a man and without knowing Christine told me this man lives near a lake where he loves fishing... perfect isn't it???.

For this card I used:

Cardstock: Old Olive and Vanilla from SU
Designer Paper: Lost and found Breeze from My mind's eye
Stamps: Fishing from Mo's digital stamps and the sentiment I'm not sure but it is a digital one.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Label 16 Spellbinders, First prize ribbon die from MFT, Old Olive brads from SU, Copic Markers, Sewing machine and Paper piercing tool kit from SU as well.

Thanks for looking!!!

Love this adorable retirement card. I have a teacher friend retiring this year and she lives on the river. Thought this was so cute even if it is got a masculine feel to it. Love the diecut shapes too. Beautiful job on the coloring, Carlina!.
