Crafty Gals April Challenge "April showers bring May Flowers"

Hello everyone!!!. April 5th...time for another Challenge at Crafty Gals. This month our hostess is Diane and she challenged us like this:

Since April is supposed to be a rainy month in most of the country, I thought we would try a "water" challenge. My challenge to you is to incorporate water in some way on your card. It can be rain, puddles, ocean, sea, beach, lake, bathtub or anything else you can think of. In addition to the water, I want you to use ribbon, brads and patterned paper on your card. I can't wait to see your creations and I hope you all enjoy this month's challenge.

I don't have many stamps about water, maybe a watering can, some shells and a couple of lighthouses. I used lighthouses for my last group challenge so while I was searching I found this cute stamp set from SU that doesn't see ink in years!!!. I've been using a lot of MFT lately with very cute images and other companies as well and forgot completely about my SUs. I'm so glad I used this one. I need to get back to my origins from time to time!!! Please visit my other Crafty Gals for more great creations!!!

Here is my card:

And here are some close ups:

For this card I used:

Cardstock: Whisper White and Chocolate Chip from SU. I don't remember where the blue base is from.
Designer Paper: All about boys from DCWV
Stamps: Ahoy Matey from SU and the sentiment is from the set Time to Celebrate from MFT
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic Markers. Ribbon, brads, paper piercing tool and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder from SU.

Thanks for looking!!!

Very cute card! I like how you incorporated the image by using a rectangle and a circle. I like the embossed circle. Those are super cute papers too.

Fabulous paper piercing on the rectangular pieces and raised dots on the circle!! Your little pirate looks like he's having loads of fun sailing the seven seas!
