For MY Piano Teacher!!!

Hello everyone!!! WOW I'm on fire!!! I'm posting...again!!!. Well I have a card for my piano teacher this time. Her name is Christine, she is our choir leader at church. She wanted me to be part of the choir but since I don't read music I had to decline. Then she came to me and said that that wasn't a reason not to be part of the choir... she offered to be my piano teacher once a week so I can read music and who know eventually play the piano at church. I offered her to pay because I didn't want her to do it for free but she insisted. She is a french teacher as well and loves languages so she asked me... why don't you give me spanish conversations so I can improve my spanish and of course I agree. We have been having piano lessons and Spanish conversations since then (It's been several months now), with tea and cookies. We have fun together and laugh together, we share lovely times. And.... I asked her to ask me for any card she needs to send and I make cards for her as well. Now... the school year is over so we'll have a rest for the summer and I decided to make her this card with a box of chocolates (her favourites):

For this card I used:

Cardstock: Whisper White and More Mustard from SU
Designer Paper: Lost and Found 2 from My Mind's Eye
Stamps: Curly Cute from SU and the vintage piano is from Free Vintage Digital images on the top right of my blog.
Accessories: Music notes die and Fishtail Flags stax die from MFT and Paper piercing tool from SU.

Crafters of Faith June Challenge!!!

Hello everyone!!!. My blog is slowing down... I thought end of the school year would give me more time to craft... WRONG!!!. I'm busier than ever. I'm even late for my Crafters of Faith June Challenge. This month our hostess was Liz and she challenge us like this:
"Fun in the Sun " card or scrapbook page I would like to see a Sun, some summer toys, ( bike, beach ball, roller blades ect, these can be anywhere on the card your image doesn't have to be doing it )at least one thing on pop dots and something Blue

Well when I think of sun, beach, summer, my mind always remember the beach back home in Argentina. I posted a card not so long ago about it, and everything that I lived over there was thanks to my mom. She was the one that always made our summers the best. You might ask why the Mariuskas then... and what do they have to do with a beach...well is a long story... Mariuskas are really special to both of us. When I was born, my father brought the most beautiful one to my mother from Russia and she saved it for me. I've never seen one prettier than that one. I have it on my shelf and always remember my dad when I see her. Now my husband is in Russia and he will do the same as my father did. He is bringing one as well, so when I saw this digital image I had to have it and the theme this month was perfect to use it. My mom is here visiting since March and she is leaving in August. I'll give her this card with a gift for her to remember our summers and my father's love. I hope you like my card:

For this card I used:

Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Old Olive, Really Rust and Barely Banana from SU
Designer Paper: Lime Twist Fly a Kite from My Mind's Eye
Stamps: Sun from Hambo Stamps, Olga and Sasha from Squigglefly.com, the sentiment is from Fabulous Frosty from MFT
Accessories: Clouds die, Grass die, Banner die and flower dies from MFT, Paper piercing tool kit from SU and Copic Markers.
