I got an award!!!

Special thanks to Nancy for awarding me the Liebster Blog Award.
The idea of the Leibster award is to bring attention to blogs with less than 200 followers. So, in the spirit of good fun, I am passing this award on to five other bloggers. Please stop by and encourage them by leaving a little love on their creations.

For the 5 blogs I'm presenting this to, please .....
1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2. Reveal your five picks for the award and let them know.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the blogshare-other bloggers.
5. Finally and the best rule of all..........have fun and spread the love!

I'm awarding this to 5 very special blogs, it was hard to choose between all the ladies I have in my groups so I chose the ones with less followers, to be fair!!!

1. Melina
2. Athina
3. Barbara
4. Lela
5. Carol

For Better or Worse!!!

Hello everybody!!!. Time for another challenge in our "Crafty Gals" Group, also I follow the Sweet Sunday Sketch so I'm entering this card on the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge as well. Please visit the other Gals on my right side of the blog to see everyone's projects. This time was Lela's time to challenge us and here is what she told us to do:
"ReCipE for A VaLEntiNE"

February is the month of LOVE and what could be better than showing off our idea of a "ReCipE for A VaLEntiNE". Last year DH made me chocolate dipped strawberries. He found the recipe on-line and they were fabulous. It was wonderful but a surprise as usually he gets me roses. What makes the perfect VaLEntiNE surprise? Is it candy, flowers, love notes? Let's see your ReCipE for sharing LOVE. Don't forget to add a Heart or 2 on our project.

I know I didn't cook anything (don't like it that much) and didn't use hearts on it... buttttt.... isn't this image pure LOVE???. I hope this could be us with my husband many years from now!!!. The recipe???: "Friendship", as I read today: "Friendship is a serious affection; the most sublime of all affections, because it is founded on principle, and cemented by time", and the moment I read this I thought that's the most perfect recipe for an everlasting LOVE. The perfect Valentine surprise???. This card for my husband..., he will love this!!!

For this card I used:

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Early Expresso from SU and Cream from Recollections
Designer Paper: Really don't remember it is sooo old!!!
Stamps: Jack and Ginger from StampingBella
Accessories: Copic Markers, Paper Piercing tool kit from SU, Chocolate Chip Grossgrain Ribbon Striped from SU and my sewing machine. You can't really see it but the cream paper is embossed with Perfect Dots embossing folder from SU.

Love Nest!!!

Hello everyone!!!. I have to confess... I don't remember if I ever did a Valentine's card in my life. I'm not that hearts, red and pink kind of woman, but I had to admit I love doing this MFT Guest Designer project. This month they challenged us to make a project with LOVE and HEARTS. Well the prize is $200 dollars in stamps and dies so... for sure I don't want to miss that, plus you are invited for the next month to be a Guest Designer and play with their challenges the entire month!!!.

So here is my card:

Since I don't' make Valentine's cards much I didn't have any MFT stamps to play with (although they are not mandatory) and my son (that follows my bobbie all the time) told me: "Mom what about the birdhouse", he is my "human stamps file cabinet". So at that moment after kissing him I had this vision and I am very happy with the result.

Here are some close ups:

For this card I used:

Cardstock: White from Recollections, Real Red and  Early Expresso SU
Designer Paper: Prints Pack from SU, I don't remember the one I used on the birdhouse, sorry!!!.
NO STAMPS
Accessories: Homespun Birdhouse die, By the Letters die and Branch and leaves die all from MFT. Martha Stewart Branch, Pine Branch and Hydrangea punches. Black rhinestones for their eyes from Michael's, Perfect dots embossing folder from SU and my sewing machine.
