Yummy!!!

This card is for the "Crazy4Challenges, and for the Simon Says Challenge. This time is "Candy time" and "House Time", and what a better choice than a gingerbread house full of yummy candy!!!. For this card I used Real Red and Whisper White card stock and "Dashing" paper all from SU. The stamp is from the set "Gingerbread House" from SU as well and I colour it with Copic Markers. I pierced the whole card and if you visited me before you would know that piercing is something that I love to do. I decorate with snowflakes that are from Martha Stewart punches (on sale at Michaels this past weekend, and perfect for the holidays!!!) and SU buttons. Yummy!!!!.

For my friend's sister

I made this card for my friend's sister that obviously she is having a baby very soon. for this card I used Nana's Nursery paper from DCWV and Vanilla card stock from Michael's. Pearls are from the Prettiest Kit from SU as well as the Victoria Ribbon. I used Spellbinders for the sentiment and the Fancy Flourish die from MFT (as you can see in my cards, I love that die). The stamps are from the set "My how you've grown" from MFT. I used Copic Markers to colour the image and Memento Tuxedo black to ink it. The picture is kind of dark but it is late and I don't have natural light and I had to give it to her tonight.

My littlest one's card

What can you do with a six years old boy with Chicken Pox????...A CARD!!!. Please mommy can I make one with you????. So here is the result. He chose the stamp and the card stock and mommy helped with the cutting, but he did the Spellbinders in "mommy's Big Shot". He was so proud of his card that he asked me to post it and here it is. He used Whisper White and Glorious Green card stock from SU and the stamp set "Fox and Friends" also from SU.

One layer card

This is a card that I made for the Crazy4Challenges. This time we had to use only a one layer card.  I found it difficult. Usually I use lots of layers and I thought that being only one would look empty. The only thing I could think of was embossing an image. I liked the finish product. It still looks plain but there is no room for anything else. Sometimes simple is better.
Here is a picture to see the embossing on the card.

I changed my blog's look so many times!!!

I know, I changed it so many times. For you that visited me more than once, by this time you probable noticed how many backgrounds I changed since I started my blog a month ago or so. The thing is when I think my blog looks beautiful...I found a nicer background website that I didn't check before. I know I have to make up my mind but there are so many beautiful once that it is hard to pick which one is exactly me!!!. The one that I have now is pretty nice don't you think?. Ok, I'll stop for now. I'll be visiting blogs and trying to find more challenge ones to add to mine.

Just for you

This card is for the "The Sweetest Thing" challenge #139. I waited for my banner die from MFT to arrive but the deadline for the challenge is today and it didn't arrive yet so I did it by hand. It doesn't look as nice as the die but it worked. I really love Rachelle Anne Miller's stamps. Look at this design. Isn't it adorable???. This one is called Hoppy Spring. and the sentiment is from the set Just Believe from SU. The paper is an oldie "Fall Flowers" from SU and the card stock is Whisper White and Old Olive (SU as well as the brads and the twine). For colouring I used my copic markers. And as mothers says about a good meal "It is made with Love".

For my Graduate

Ok, yes it is an old card. I made it four months ago but didn't have the chance to post it and I wanted to post something today. I didn't even have my copic markers at that time. The colouring is really different without them. I used SU Whisper White, Really Red and Basic black and Tassel Time stamp set. The circle and the scallop are from Spellbinders and the "Tunic"???? is from Michaels "EK Success" Jolee's boutique dimensional stickers. I got inspire by this card: http://paperplayhouse.blogspot.com/2011/05/congratulations-on-your-graduation.html

Holly Family

This is a card that I made for the Crazy 4 Challenge. The theme is to make some holiday card embossing the image. This is an old stamp but I thought it is great to emboss.  I don't know if you can notice but the image and the "Peaceful Wishes" are embossed with gold embossing powder. The paper that I used is from SU "Dashing"as well as the "Old olive" card stock , the stamp is "Heavenly Peace" and the sentiment is from the Peaceful Wishes set all from SU. The brad is from SU "Antique brads"

At the zoo vintage

I had a vintage week at those days. I even wanted to try sepia pictures and to tell you the truth... I love this style but not for every scrapbook page though. I used the same paper and stamps and embellishments as the page below except I used "Collage alphabet" for the tag.  and Close to Cocoa card stock from SU..Thanks for looking.!!!!

At the Zoo

I wanted to try some different techniques and I tried the tearing edges. I love to cut the pictures along the borders of the images like the giraffe and my son sitting on the pig's face, that way I can put more pictures in the page. Sometime I want to use so many pictures on one theme that I don't have room.  The designer paper is from the K&Company stack that doesn't have any name on it.  and the stamp is from SU "Element of Style". This flower is dyed and is from "Pretties Kit" as well as the pearls also from SU. Too much writing today... my head is spinning :) !!!!

Our Castle (we wish!!!!)

Another of my "oldies". I wanted to do some vintage pages, especially this one that it is from a castle. I don't even know where are the pages from. They are from my old collections. I used Bravo Burgundy and River Rock card stock from SU. Victoria ribbon (SU) and stamps, also from SU "French Script"(really old) and "Artistic Etchings" for the crown. And the big shapes and the letters are done with the Cricut machine. Thanks for looking!!!.

Trip to the Island

This is another page of the ones that I have in my computer. I made them several months ago, before having nice flowers to decorate the pages with.
For this page I used Designer paper from K&Company but the stack doesn't have a name. I used SU stamps "Elements of style" and hodgepodge hardware also from SU. Flowers are from the dollar store, and I don't remember from where the pearls are!!!.

BC Butterflies

This is one of a few scrapbook pages that I already had on my computer, so I thought....I'll post them. I will like to have posts of both cards and scrapbook pages because I found lost of scrappers in the blog groups.
For this page I used designe paper "Tim Coffey" from K&Company. I cut the butterflies from one of the papers. I used Whimsical alphabet from SU for the title and "Not Quite Navy" card stock also from SU.  Very simple page but I like it!!!.

Dotty Birthday

This card if for the MFT Challenge #41. I used MFT stamp "Time to Celebrate". Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler card stock from SU and Love Letter designer paper also from SU. I colour it with Copic Markers and used SU black brads. I don't remember the name of the polka dot brads but they are from Hobbie Lobby (I think that is the name of the store).

Frosty Ornament

This is an ornament for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge. I don't have any Flourishes stamps yet so I used "Snow Much Fun" from StampinUp. The idea was to make an ornament or a card using an ornament. I used Real Red and Whisper White cardstock from SU. Copic Markers to colour it, Jewels Basic Rhinestones from SU and Mistletoe Ribbon also from SU. I used Spellbinders for my shapes. Lots of challenges and new releases about Christmas. I can't wait to decorate the house. Christmas is around the corner... love the lights, the snow and how cozy is everything at this time of the year!!!!. But why to rush time... right???.

Mom's card

Ok, here is mine, but to tell you the truth I liked his better <3!!!. I'm using this card for the Simon Says Challenge. This time we have been challenged to do something with wings and what is better than the wind of a mother protecting her babies????
I enjoyed the afternoon a lot!!!. It was Thanksgiving here in Canada so we had a relaxing afternoon making cards and at night we made a mexican feast!!!, Yessss, we had turkey but on Saturday with our friends!!!!.
For the card I used Urban Rhapsody stack paper from K&Company as well and Baja Breeze and Whisper White from SU. The stamp is from Rachelle Anne Miller (I love them) "Newly Hatched". I used copic markers to colour it. The die is from MFT "Fancy flourish", and the ribbon and brad are from SU.

My baby's card

Did you see the baby on the scrapbook page below????. That is the baby that made this card yesterday with me. He loves to be in my office, touching everything and he always asks me to make a card together. Well... yesterday I said YES, but without any help because I wanted to make a card too. So we both chose the paper we wanted to use in our cards, I explained him how to measure the paper to do the layers... and he did all the rest, with a little tiny help in the ribbon ;). I was shocked when I saw the finish project. He wanted so bad to use my copic markers and my big shot!!!! and he was so proud of his card!!!! I am too!!!.  By the way... he is 11 years old... Hard to believe I know....but he is always watching me when I work. We both chose the same sketch, and here is his.
He used SU Baja Breeze and Whisper White card stock for the card and Urban Rhapsody stack paper from K&Company. The stamp is from MFT "Being cute is what I do" and he painted it with copic markers. The ribbon is from SU "Victoria" and the brad is from the dollar store.

Me and my Mommy

I'm working on five different scrapbooks at the same time: Birthdays, Our Family and one for each kid with my favourite pictures of each one of them on them (????). I will not post the pages that I've done so far, but for now on all the work that I'll be doing will be on here.
For this page I used DCWV paper "All about boys" stack. I cut the cars and trucks from one of the papers and from SU I used Gable Green paper. For the title I used my great Cricut machine. It is a very simple page without any writing, but I think the pictures speak for themselves.

My Three Babies

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE FRIDAYS.... A relaxing day, stamping, scrapbooking, picking up my sons from school and later... PIZZA and a MOVIE NIGHT!!!

This is another card for the Wednesday MFT Challenge. I have learned so much since I started this challenge and my cards are finally looking the way I always wanted to. I loved this stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller "Jump into my pouch". It is just me with my three boys. Although I'm having a really tough time accepting that they are growing, they always bring me all the happiness in the world. This card is for them.

PS:  Let's enjoy the pizza and the movie for now and worry about them growing some other time...:)

For Paula

This card was for another MFT Wednesday Challenge a couple of weeks ago. I tried my copic markers for the first time and I LOVE THEM!!!!!. I tried this new technic for the green flower that I saw at Splitcoaststamper's website, very easy and I think it gives a very bold embellishment to the card, just go to the Splitcoaststamper's website under "resources" on the top right of the page and type "flowers", you'll have lots of beautiful techniques.  The stamp is from My Favorite Things "Being Cute is what I do". Thanks again for visiting my blog :).
